001. General Banking Officers - Scale I (460)

Qualification

Graduation with not less than sixty percent marks.

Experience

Those who have some experience working in bank or other financial organisation would be a preferred over others.

Age

Between 21 years and 30 years.

Salary

Between Rs 10000 and 18000.

002. General Banking Officers - Scale II (386)

Qualification

Graduation with not less than sixty percent marks.

Or

Master degree with not less than fifty percent marks.

Or

PG Degree or Diploma in Management.

Or

Professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA etc.

Experience

  • Not less than three years experience in a bank or other finanical firm in which minimum one year should be in an Officer position.
  • Candidates having JAIIB or CAIIB would be preferred over the others.

Age

Between 21 years and 33 years.

Salary

Between Rs 14000 and 19000.

003. General Banking Officers - Scale III (237)

Qualification

Graduation with not less than sixty percent marks.

Or

Master degree with not less than fifty percent marks.

Or

PG Degree or Diploma in Management.

Or

Professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA etc.

Experience

  • Not less than five years experience in a bank or other finanical firm in an Officer position.
  • Candidates having JAIIB or CAIIB would be preferred over the others.

Age

Between 24 and 35 years.

Salary

Between Rs 19000 and 23000.

  1. Written test.
  2. Personal Interview.

Application Fee

  • Rs 400 (nil for SC,ST,Disabled, Exservicemen guys) as application fee to be paid at any branch of Bank of India on or before 30th November 2009.
  • It is to be paid using a challan format which may be downloaded from the bank's website.
  • Get the transaction number from the branch after paying the fees.

  • Pay the application fee as mentioned above.
  • Apply online at the Bank of India website, www.bankofindia.co.in before 30th November 2009.The application link will be live from 11th november 2009.
  • The candidate need to have a working email id.It is free from providers such as gmail and yahoo.
  • Enter important information including transaction number in the online application form and click submit button.
  • Take a print out of the online application form and affix photo on it.Keep it ready for the interview.
  • Write down the registration number and password for future use.
