UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSIONJOB AD EXPIRED ENGINEERING SERVICE EXAMINATION, 2009
NATIONALITY
Candidate must be either,a citizen of India,a subject of Nepal,or a subject of Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came over to Indian before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated to other country but is willing to settle in india.
AGE
Candidate must be minimum 21 years and max 30 years as on 1st august,2009.
QUALIFICATION
Candidate must have degree in Engineering from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as Universities under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.ORCandidates must have passed Section A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) ORpassed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India)ORCandidate must have obtained a degree/diploma in Engineering from such foreign University/College/Institution and under such conditions as may be recognised by the Government .ORpassed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India ORpassed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959
PATTERN OF EXAMINATION
Examination will be in two parts,PART I and II.PART I includes Section I consisting only of objective types of questions and Section II of conventional papers.PART II includes Personality test carrying a maximum of 200 marks of such of the candidates who qualify on the basis of the written examination.
HOW TO APPLY
Candidate must pay a fee of Rs. 100.00 through a single Central Recruitment Fee stamp.SC/ST candidates need not pay the fees.Application form can be obtained from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country on payment of Rs.20/-.please read detailed information in Appendix II before filling up the form.Candidate should also fill up in the relevant places of the Acknowledgement Card, their Application Form Number (8-digit) and the name of the Examination.Candidates must affix the postage stamp of Rs. 6/- on the Acknowledgement Cards and send the same alongwith application form to UPSC.Application should be send in a special envelope provided along with the information brochure.and should be superscribed with name of Examination "Engineering Services Examination, 2009".Last date of receipt of application will be 09.03.2009.Application must be send to Secretary Union Public Service Commission Dholpur House New Delhi-110069
