Mumbai-400 029. NACIL-A (Air-India) invites applications for the post of
JOB AD EXPIRED Trainee Pilot.

QUALIFICATION
Candidates need to have a minimum qualification of H.S.C. (10+2) or equivalent.Candidates with Graduates in Engineering or B.Sc. (Maths and Physics) / B.Sc. (Aviation) will be given preferrence.Candidates need to have Commercial Pilot’s Licence, issued by Director General of Civil Aviation, Govt of India.Candidates need to have FRTO licence issued by DGCA and COP/RTR issued by Ministry of Communication, WPC Wing, Govt. of India.
AGE
Age limit will be 35 years for general candidates and Abinitio CPL holders,40 years for SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates.
HEIGHT
Candidates need to have a minimum height requirement of 152.5cms.
SELECTION
Candidates have to appear for a written test followed by Psychometric Evaluation and personal interview.Candidates selected from personal interview will have to undergo Simulator/Flight Proficiency Assessment Check.Candidates selected as Trainee Pilots are required to give cheques of Rs.25 lakhs towards the training cost which will be encashed if he/she does not complete a period of 5 years of service in Air-India.Candidates also have to execute Performance Bond after completion of each subsequent training/endorsement.
HOW TO APPLY
Candidates need to apply on plain paper (typed) in the given format.Candidates are requested to pay a fee of Rs.500/- as DD drawn in favour of Air-India, Mumbai payable at Mumbai.SC/ST candidates need not pay the fees.Application should be send along with 2 recent passport size photographs.Last date of receipt of application will be 9th March, 2009.Applications must be send to Executive Director Operations-II Operations Department Air-India, Old Airport Santa Cruz (East) Mumbai-400 029.
