Freshers as General Service / Hydro Cadre Executive Branch Officers

Indian Navy invites application from single male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Executive Branch (General Service/ Hydro Cadre) for Jan 2010 Course at Naval Academy (NAVAC) Ezhimala, Kerala.

AGE

• Candidate should be between 19 1/2 to 25 years born between 02 Jan 1985 and 01 Jan 1990.

QUALIFICATION

• Candidates must be a Science graduate with Physics & Mathematics with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University.OR
• Candidates must have a BE/B Tech with minimum 55% marks in aggregate in any discipline from a institution recognized by AICTE.OR
• Candidates must be a Science graduates (Physics & Mathematics) from a recognized University holding NCC Naval Wing, Senior Division ‘C’ certificate.OR
• Candidates must be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Operations Analysis and Operational Research/Quantitative methods with minimum 75% marks from recognised university.OR
• Candidates must be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Mathematics, with Probability or Statistics with minimum 75% marks from recognised university.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

HEIGHT AND WEIGHT

• Candidates should have minimum of height 157 cms with correlated weight.

EYE SIGHT

• Candidates need to have a minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6, 6/6.
• Candidate should not be colour/night blind.

SELECTION

• Candidates will be selected based on interview scheduled from Jun 09 –Nov 09 at Bangalore or Bhopal or Coimbatore.
• Candidates will have to undergo a training from the month of Jan 2010.
