The indian navy invites application from unmarried male canidates for Sailors for MR(Musician)-2/2009 Batch.Course commences on 5th October,2009.

QUALIFICATION

• Candidates should have passed the 10th standard.
• Candidates should be proficient in western notation, aural aptitude.
• Candidate should have knowledge of Theory of Music and should have actual practical skill on any Musical Instrument.
• Candidates need to be proficient in String, Key-board,Woodwind, Brass and Percussion Instruments both of Western and Indian Origin.

AGE

• Candidates should be been born between 01 Oct 1988 to 30 Sep 1992.

PAY SCALE

• Candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs.5700 per month.

SELECTION

• Candidates will have to undergo a Preliminary selection, PFT(Physical Fitness Test) and Medical Examination.
• Candidates who qualify in all respects will be short listed for Final screening.
• Candidates selected in the Final Screening will be send to INS Chilka for training.

HOW TO APPLY

• Candidates should submit the application on A4 size paper in given format.
• Application form can also be downloaded from www.nausena-bharti.nic.in.
• Application has to send in an envelope superscribing the type of entry, choice of centre and percentage of marks in 10th std.
• Application has to send with attested copies of certificates in proof of qualification,2 self-addressed envelops of size 22 x 10 cms with Rs 10/- stamp affixed on one envelope,and 1 photocopy of Domicile Certificate attested by Gazetted Officer/Gram Panchyat.
• Envelopes should be of brown colour.
• Last date of receipt of application will be 06.04.2009.
• Last date of receipt of aapplication from far flung areas will be 13.04.2009.
