Pilots

Indian Navy invites application from single male candidates (bachelors) for Short Service Commission (SSC) as Pilots in the Executive Branch commencing from Jan 2010.

AGE

• Candidate should be between 19 to 23 years born between 02 Jan 1987 and 01 Jan 1991.

QUALIFICATION

• Candidate should be a graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% marks with Mathematics & Physics at 10+2 level.

PHYSICAL STANDARDS

HEIGHT AND WEIGHT

• Candidates should have minimum of height 162.5 cms with correlated weight, leg length, sitting height and thigh length.

EYE SIGHT

• Candidates need to have a minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision  as 6/6, 6/9 which can be made correctable to 6/6, 6/6.
• Candidate should not be colour/night blind.

SELECTION

• Candidates will be selected based on interview scheduled from Aug 2009 to Dec 2009 at Bangalore.
• Candidates will have to undergo a training from the month of Jan 2010.

HOW TO APPLY

• Candidates should fill the application in prescribed format.
• Application has to be send along with 10th Standard Certificate for verification of date of birth,other educational certificates and Marks statement of all semesters/years.
• Application should be send in an envelope superscribing "APPLICATION FOR SSC PILOTS - JAN 2010 COURSE, Qualification………….................. .…..………......Percentage..............%”.
• Last date of receipt of application will be 22.04.2009.
