Qualification
Post Graduation or BE/ BTech with minimum 60 % marks from an institution affiliated with a recognised University.Distance Education and Open University students are not expected to apply for this post.
Candidates from streams other than computer science need to have done a minimum 3 months computer course from a reputed training institution.
Age
Should not be over 30 years as on 31st May 2008.Relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST candidates is present in this bank too.

The candidates should bring a demand draft when the appear for the written test.They should produce it to the exam supervisor.The Demand Draft worth Rs 250 (Rs 100 for ST and SC candidates) should be drawn in favour of "The Karur Vysya Bank Limited" and payable at Chennai.
General Information
1. Candidates doing their final years and plan to complete the above qualifying degree examination in 2008 and waiting results can apply.They need to produce original provisional degree certificate if they are selected by the bank
2. Relaxation in the marks of qualifying examination is there for SC/ST candidates.They need to score only 50 % marks in their PG or BTech/ BE to get in to this post.
3. Students who have done their PG or BE / BTech as a part time course please do not apply.
4. ST and SC candidates should produce caste certificate at the time of written examination.
5. Even if you are eligible, it is the bank's right to call or reject you for the written test.The desisions made by the bank in such issues would be final and the bank does not want any one to contact them for such issues.
6. Include your email address in your resume.Because all the communication from the bank like exam call letters and interview call letters would be to this email id.The bank will not send hard copies of such documents to you.So please include a valid email id in your resume.
7. Candidates are requested to note down reference number from the mails and communications from the bank with regard to this recruitment.
8. Attend the written exam and interview at your own expense.That is bank does not give you any travel allowance.
9. There is a probation period of 1 year for selected candidates.
10. The bank may place you if selected at any location in the length and breadth of our country.It is up to the bank to decide where you work.Your preference may not be taken in to account.
11. If you have done any mischief or out of the way method to get in to this job, you would be thrown out of the post, if found out.
12. Only the selected candidates are informed about the written test/ interview.
