POWERGRID invites application from Diploma Engineer Trainees in Electrical & Civil Discipline for the following post.

1.Diploma Trainee (Electrical)

• Maximum age limit will be 27 years and minimum will be 18 years.

QUALIFICATION

• Candidates must have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Technical Board/Institute with minimum 70% marks for General and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and pass marks for SC/ST.

2.Diploma Trainee(Civil)

• Maximum age limit will be 27 years and minimum will be 18 years.

QUALIFICATION

• Candidates must have a Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized TechnicalBoard/Institute with minimum 70% marks for General and OBC(Non Creamy Layer) candidates and pass marks for SC/ST.

SELECTION

• Candidate will be selected based on an objective type Written Test on respective discipline(consisting of Professional Knowledge Test & General Aptitude Test) at Guwahati.
• Candidates shortlisted from the written exam will be called for a personal interview.
• Selected candidates will undergo training for a period of one year at POWERGRID sites and Training Centres and posted in various locations of the Corporation in the North Eastern Region.
• Candidates need to execute a service agreement bond (of Rs.50,000/- for Gen/OBC & Rs.25,000/- for SC/ST/PH candidates) for serving the Corporation for a minimum period of three years after completion of training.
• Candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs.7300 during training.
