RAJIV GANDHI CENTRE FOR BIOTECHNOLOGYJOB AD EXPIRED RGCB invites application for the post of
Junior Research Fellow
in a KSCSTE funded research project on "Circumscription of medicinal rice njavara from other traditional rice strains in Kerala following microsatellite assisted fingerprinting" in the laboratory of Dr. George Thomas for a period of 2 years.
QUALIFICATION
Candidate must have Masters degree in plant Sciences / Agricultural Sciences /Biotechnology with first class academic record since 10th class.Candidates having Masters in Biotechnology are also eligible to apply, only if they have Botany as main subject in Bachelor’s degree.
AGE
Candidate must be below 35 years of age.
PAY SCALE
Candidate will be paid Rs. 5,000/- pm consolidated.
SELECTION
Candidates will be selected based on interview.Incase of more than 10 candidates ,a written test will be conducted before interview.Selected candidates will be called for an interview on the same day.

Candidates need to send the application in plain paper with a photograph attached.Application should be send along with a copy of full resume and attested photocopies of credentials & experience.Application should be send in an envelope superscribed with abbreviated title of the project, the advertisement number and job title.Last date of receipt of application will be 28th February,2009.
