Applications are invited for the post of Additional Legal Adviser (Grade II of the Service cadre of Legal Adviser of the Indian Legal Service) in the Department of Legal Affairs on deputation basis.

QUALIFICATION

• Candidate must be holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department or with 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment on regular basis in posts in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs. 12,000-16,500/- or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
• Candidate must have a degree in law of a recognized university or equivalent.
• Candidate must be a member of a State Judicial Service for 13 years OR  had been an officer who has held a superior post in the Legal Department of State Government for 13 years;  OR  had been a Central Government Officer who has had experience in Legal Affairs for a period of 13 years; OR had been an advocate who has practiced as such for 13 years; OR an Attorney of the High Court of Bombay or Calcutta with a combined practiece of 11 years as attorney and advocate.

HOW TO APPLY

• Candidate must send the application in triplicate.
• Application should be send in the prescribed performa along with cadre clearance; vigilance clearance; certificate regarding major/minor  penalty imposed on the officer during the last 10 years; integrity certificate and ACRs for the last 5 years in original or the copies attested by an officer not below the rank of an Under Secretary.
