Indian Coast Guard invites application for the post of Yantriks.

PAY SCALE

• Rs 5200 –20200

QUALIFICATION

• Candidate must be a Matriculate with three years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Recognised by AICTE.

AGE

• Candidate must be born between 01 Jul 1987 to 01 Jul 1991.

MEDICAL STANDARD

a)HEIGHT

• Candidate must have a minimum height of 157 cms.

b)CHEST

• Candidate must have a minimum expansion of 5 cms and should be well proportioned.
  

c)WEIGHT

• Candidate must have a weight proportionable to height and age + 10% is also acceptable.
  

d)EYESIGHT

• Candidate must have a 6/12(Good Eye) 6/24 (Bad Eye) without glasses.
  

e)HEARING

• Candidate must have a normal hearing capacity.
  

f)Canidates should have good set of teeth.

g)Canidates should have a good health free from all communicable diseases, medical or surgical deformity, should have no history of fits or psychiatric ailment.

SELECTION

• Candidates will be selected based on Written Test/Interview/Pre Physical Test.
• Written exam will include questions from Mechanical /Electrical Engineering discipline.
• Candidates will have a training scheduled to commence in Aug 2009.Entire cost of training including books and reading material is borne by the Indian Coast Guard.
