RGCB invites applications for the following positions.

1.Assistant Engineer

PAY SCALE

• PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-.

AGE

• Candidate must be 35 years as on 31.03.2009.

QUALIFICATION

• Candidate must have 1st Class Diploma in Electronics/Communication Engineering .

EXPERIENCE

• Candidates have minimum of 7 years documented working experience in System Administration and Central Networking in State/Central Government or Public Sector institutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assistant Engineer will report to the Deputy General Manager (Instrumentation).
• Asst Engg will be responsible for Installing, supporting and maintaining new Server hardware, Workstations, Desktop computers, Laptops and software infrastructure.
• He/She has to ensure the most cost-effective and efficient use of servers,and also ensure that all IT equipment complies with industry standards.
• He/She has to set up email user accounts, permissions and passwords,provide training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence and various other roles.

2.Management Assistant

PAY SCALE

• PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-.

AGE

• Candidate must be 35 years as on 31.03.2009.

QUALIFICATION

• Candidate must have 1st Class Degree in Science/Mathematics with a recognized Post Graduate Diploma in Data Management or Computer Applications.

EXPERIENCE

• Candidates have minimum of 7 years documented working experience in State/Central Government or Public Sector institutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management Assistant will be reporting to the Finance Officer.
• Management Assistant has to manage Extra-mural grants, fellowships of research students.
• He/She has to assist the
   a)General Administration in preparing drafts of letters and notes with regard to Administrative matters.
   b)Finance Officer in the day to day work related to posting of payment vouchers and receipts in appropriate  ledgers and in preparation of reconciliation entries.
   c)Principal Investigators for preparation of utilization certificates and statement of accounts.
   

3.Technical Assistant

PAY SCALE

• PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.1900/-.

AGE

• Candidate must be 35 years as on 31.03.2009.

QUALIFICATION

• Candidate must have an SSLC/10th Std.
• Candidate must have a valid driving license for light motor vehicles.

EXPERIENCE

• Candidates have minimum of 5 years experience in the collection, handling and storage of biological materials and tissue samples in a State or National Biomedical research institution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• He/She has to collect biological materials (tissue blood and other fluids) from collaborating medical institutions, their appropriate transportation in a cold chain, storage at RGCB.
• Assist  in the central tissue collection facility.
• He/She has to clean and upkeep laboratories and monitoring proper disposal of laboratory wastes.
