Job Responsibilities:

• Working experience in the operations and maintenance of 132KV Switch yard with SCADA (SIEMENS)operating system at M/S Hindustan Zinc Ltd,having 16 no.of bays.
• Working experience in Testing,Commissioning and Operation and Maintenance of ABB  High power Rectifier Transformer system of rating 132KV/474 V AC,64.1 MVA,12 pulse each, with vector groups of yn7.5 y0d1 and yn-7.5 y0d1 connected parallel for a total  output of  190 KA,490 V DC,having 96 thyristors in each rectifier with  thyristor rating 2800V,3000A. The whole system is controlled by two PEC 800(Power electronic controller ABB)one for each Rectifier which supervises all alarms and trippings in the System.And this rectifier System is having the DM water cooling system supplied  by M/S ALFA LAVAL INDIA PVT LTD.
• Preventive maintenance and conditional monitoring and breakdown maintenance activities to be carried out for all equipments as per SOPs.
• Working experience on SAP Preventive maintenance & inspection orders as per schedule,Completing the entries of daily working activities and breakdown entries also.
• Preparing the Standard operating procedures(SOP) of electrical all electrical activities,and preparing work instructions and explaining them to the subordinates.Working on ISO documentation.
• Preparing the daily energy reports and calculation of production per MWH on daily basis,through this planning the some energy conservative activities for increasing the power efficiency.
• Working experience in the commissioning, maintenance of Cranes (KUNZ) of rating 11.5T/1.5T, which is having two Siemens AC, drives of rating 75 KW for lifting and long traveling with automisation Technology of  SIEMENS SIMATIC S7 PLC Programming.
• Working experience in Distributed control system provided by TATA HONEYWELL having C 200 Controller.
• Working experience in Testing and Commissioning of Relays like
  
  • REX 521,REJ 525 Over current and Earth fault Relay (ABB)
  • EARTH Fault monitoring Relay(ABB),With directional relay and with one flag relay.
  • MICOM Relay for Over current and Earth fault (AREVA) 
  • SPAJ 140C (ABB)  relay for overload and earth fault etc.

• Trained in the technical module by NIS PARTA consultancy ltd, about equipment maintenance and SIXSIGMA, BenchMarking,5 S Technology etc.
• Training of one month in the STERLITE  Copper industry which is in the group of Vedanta Group of Industries in Tamilnadu about the plant maintenance and shutdown job activities.
• Attented the Training  in the institute of HIMER Chennai for the maintenance of Electrical Equipements.

Title             : Placing of radio remote control panel in the 11.5T/1.5T cranes.
    
Description: The purpose of this Project is to control the traveling of EOT cranes both auxiliary hoist and main hoist through remote along with their own controlling equipment.

Project Description: The purpose of this Project is to control the power flow in the transmission lines using UPFC.UPFC is defined as Unified Power Flow Controller. This UPFC controls the parameters like voltage, phase angle and impedance in the transmission lines simultaneously. We  can also find the optimal location of the UPFC in the power systems.
