NTPC invites application for scholarships for SC/ST students.

QUALIFICATION

• Candidate must have cleared their 1st year examination of full time 3 year diploma course in electrical or electronic or instrumentation or mechanical or civil.
• Candidate should not be in receipt of any financial aid or assistance from any other source.
• Candidate should be a bonafied student of an institute of Delhi, Himachal Pradesh,J & K , Haryana,Punjab, Chandigarh or Rajasthan.

TENURE

• Scholarship will be tenable from 2nd year of diploma Engg course till the completion of diploma course.
• Candidates will be paid a scholarship of 12 months in a year for a period of 2 years.
• Candidates will be paid an amount of Rs.1000 per month.
• Scholarship will be continued based on satisfactory performance in each years annual examination and good conduct.

HOW TO APPLY

• The head of the instituition where the student is studying should recommend and should duly sign and send the typed application along with recent attested photograph of the candidate.
• Each institute can recommend a maximum of two candidates
